2M2 Magic Tank has announced to add new functions in recent software updates. Thereinto, residential key & decoder tool are the most impressive.This post is going to bring you preview all new features.



2M2 Magic Tank 4 Main Functions:

1. Cut by bitting

Here allows to cut vehicle key, motorcycle key, residential key, plastic and aluminum alloy key, universal key by bitting. You can also check cutting records in History.



All the frequently used codes like Audi HU66, Acura HON66, HU58, Buick HU100, Mercedes Benz HU39, BMW HU92R, HU58... can be easily found in database.



To cut residential key, there are 2 types: ASSA & Kwikset. You can search the appropriate codes under these 2 types. Such as ASS9, ASS120, ASSA, ASS124, ASS64, KS1, KS4, etc.



2. All key lost

For all key lost cutting, it allows to search accurate code by inputting probable code and vehicle model.



3. Decoder tool

This function will be released in recent upgrade. It’ll help to decode unknown key bitting directly, which should be an very useful tool for each locksmith.

How to use L Series Key Blade with 2M2 to Generate HON66

 

Here’s a quick way to show how to use 2M2 Magic Tank Key Cutting Machine to make a HON66 key blank.

First of all, you may need a 2M2 L Series Key Blade.
Connect 2M2 Magic Tank with app, press
Tools >> Generate key type >> Next >> Laser key >> Japan >> HON66 >> Next



Place the L Series super key blank on clamp as instruction.
Pay more attention to direction and groove.
Key shoulder has to align the groove of clamp.
Next >> Next >> Start

Tips to 2M2 Magic Tank Clamp Options

 

2M2 Magic Tank Key Cutting Machine clamp has been upgraded recently: Clamp A is the older one while Clamp B is the latest one. Both clamps can work for 2M2 machine.

 

This is a clamp options selection guide for new users, please follow the steps below to start calibrating the 2M2 machine for the first time.

 

• How to select the correct clamp option?

Install the clamp on 2M2 Magic Tank firmly, go to MagicTank app to control,

Setting >> Clamp options >> Clamp B >> Clamp options

(Note: please select Clamp B for new users)

• How to calibrate 2M2 Magic Tank for the first time?

Setting >> Calibration >> To show correct key blank installation, press “GIF” >> Confirm

It’s taking a HON66 key blank for calibration example(25# can be reusable).

 

2M2 Magic Tank will start working after press “Confirm”.

It’ll also show the corrective record including X/Y direction data, CXY/CXY2 data, mShoulderX/MsHOULDERx2 data when completed.
